  • An annual salary of $67,820 (pro-rata) + superannuation to $93,529 (pro-rata) + superannuation is available dependent upon number of years of experience. Any applicable allowances will be in addition to this.
  • Recent teaching graduates and experienced teachers will be considered
  • 37.5 hours per fortnight / only work during the Queensland school terms

About the role:

An exciting opportunity has become available at C&K Dirranbandi Community Kindergarten for a natural, warm and passionate Director / Teacher to join the team. This a great opportunity to become an integral part of the local community, lead the centre and nurture and inspire children to succeed in an ever-changing world. 


Dirranbandi is located in the Balonne Shire, approximately 500km inland from the Queensland capital, Brisbane. The towns in the Balonne Shire are known for their rich history, friendly locals, bird life, wide open spaces and their relaxed country lifestyle. Traditionally, the Shire's economy has been built around agriculture, in particular the production of cotton, grain, sheep and cattle. Growth has occurred in new areas such as tourism, and horticultural crops such as grapes, onions, and garlic.


This part-time position provides fantastic work-life balance:

  • 37.5 hours per fortnight
  • Work every Tuesday, Wednesday and alternating Mondays
  • Work during Queensland school terms only

We are flexible and able to consider employment on a part-time permanent or part-time fixed term contract basis.


About you: 

  • You will have completed or currently be enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or other qualification recognised by ACECQA as an early childhood teaching qualification. Please visit this website to check -
